THE NORFOLK BROADS AND SURROUNDS
The Broads are Britain's largest protected wetland; made up of over 50 broads linked by 6 rivers. The best way to see the fantastic variety of wildlife and the scenery is by water. Take a canoe tour or hire a boat and get close to nature. If you would rather be by the water then take a walk along one of the miles of paths and boardwalks through marshy woodland and along the rivers. Bird watching and fishing are popular pastimes, both of which are only minutes away from Potters Cottage. There is a well stocked fishing tackle shop 5 minutes drive away in Brundall. Strumpshaw & Buckenham Fens (RSPB sites) are 10 minutes drive away.
Canoe tours can be arranged from Potters Cottage, at an additional cost, with Sarah's husband, Chris, a highly experienced canoe and sailing instructor.
